As I lay my pen to sheet,
I pray the Lord help me not cheat.

Essay questions stretch my brain,
Has Mr. L. gone quite insane?

My understanding now will be shown,
Let's hope the vocab has not flown.

If I truly get what I've been taught,
This grade is just as good as caught.

And if I cannot stay awake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
